Code of Conduct

CareConnect is a professional network built on verified trust. Every member — NGO, expert, and company — agrees to this Code of Conduct as a condition of using the Platform.
1. Honesty and accuracy
Provide accurate, truthful information in your profile, verification documents, and all Platform communications.
Do not misrepresent your organisation’s size, funding, legal status, or impact.
Do not plagiarise or claim credit for another organisation’s work.
Promptly update your profile if material information changes.
2. Respect and inclusion
Treat all members with respect, regardless of their country, sector, size, or Trust Score.
Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
Communicate professionally in all connection requests and messages.
Respect cultural differences and adapt your communication accordingly.
3. Responsible use
Use the Platform for legitimate partnership, funding, or collaboration purposes only.
Do not spam, cold-solicit in bulk, or use the Platform for unsolicited commercial outreach.
Report crisis needs only for genuine humanitarian situations.
4. Confidentiality
Contact details shared during a mutual connection are for that partnership only. Do not share them with third parties without consent.
Treat any sensitive information shared by a potential partner as confidential.
5. Do no harm
Do not use the Platform in ways that could harm the communities your organisation serves.
Report any safeguarding concerns to safeguarding@care-connect.support.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform. To report a violation, email conduct@care-connect.support.
